Turning on the scope:
Turn on microscope, air pump, light source, laser source (all 4 are under the desk), as well as the CO2/air-temp thing (connected altogether with one switch) on the table to the side (5 components total)
Wait a few seconds before turning on the next component
Then turn on the camera. Since the camera is the most sensitive, we turn on all other components first.
Turn on computer and login
Micro-Manager 1.4

These error messages typically appear when attempting to load a config file in MicroManager at startup and indicates a connection error between computer and one of the 6 components. This can typically be addressed by power-cycling all 6 components and computer then trying again.
It is important not to move or disconnect any USB connections on any of the devices! This will break the connection to the computer and cause a COM error. If a disrupted USB connection is the cause of the COM error, you may see additional error messages regarding a "Serial Port" or "VCP" being unavailable in the Hardware Configuration Wizard.
